Requirements
A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed student sponsor
Proof of financial means: tuition fees plus living costs (£1,334/month in London, £1,023 outside London for 9 months)
English language proficiency at the required level for your course (usually IELTS)
Valid passport with at least 6 months remaining
Tuberculosis test results if applying from certain countries
ATAS certificate for certain sensitive subjects
Work Rights While Studying
Full-time students at degree level can work up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during vacations. Students below degree level are limited to 10 hours per week. You cannot be self-employed or work as a professional sportsperson.
After Your Course
Graduate Visa: Stay for 2 years (3 years for PhD) to work in any role
Skilled Worker Visa: Switch if you find a qualifying job with a licensed sponsor
